Send a Cow

What They Do?

Send a Cow’s mission is to give communities and families the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land.

They have been working on the ground with rural African communities since 1988, partnering with smallholder farming families. Their African staff have 30 years’ experience of achieving sustainable change in some of the poorest communities, through training in farming systems, enterprise, WASH, gender and social development. Focusing on women, Send a Cow’s projects empower families with the confidence, skills and self-belief to become food and income secure, to build thriving farming enterprises and develop self-reliance.

How do we help?

The Cyril & Eve Jumbo Charitable Trust started working with Send a Cow in 2018.

The Trust are currently supporting a Gender & Nutrition project in Burundi.
